Return Policy

Thank you for your order and for your support of Cowboy Outlets!  We are sorry you were not completely happy with your purchase. 

Please read our policy in full and start your return or exchange at the bottom of this page. We offer free domestic returns and exchanges. At this time we only offer returns for a refund for international customers (no exchanges).

Note, if you are returning multiple items under one order number, but cannot fit each garment into one package, you will need to go into the return portal to submit multiple return requests to generate multiple prepaid labels.

*Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and CDC guidelines please allow additional processing time for your return or exchange*

  • Items must be postmarked for return within 30 days of delivery of order
  • Items must be unworn and unwashed
  • Items can be subject for denial if they do not meet our standards
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for your package to be processed once it reaches our warehouse
  • Original shipping will not be refunded when requesting a refund
  • If we cannot fulfill your exchange request you will automatically be refunded (we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee due to limited inventory) 
  • If stock is not available for exchange request, we cannot send the original item back to customer
  • We are only able to exchange a garment for the same style & same collection
  • If a purchase was made with part gift card, part credit card, the refund will go to the gift card first
  • Refund may take 7-10 business days to show in your bank account

It is the customer's responsibility to enter the correct shipping address. Items will not be replaced or refunded if sent to an incorrectly entered address.

We stand behind our quality promise. If you feel that you are experiencing a manufacturing issue, please submit a comment (when prompted) in your return request via the portal link below. While we stand behind our quality promise, Cowboy Outlets is not responsible for issues due to external forces.


  • Deodorant marks
  • Stains of any kind
  • Excessive wrinkling
  • Detached size/wash & care tags (not price tags)
  • Animal/human hair
  • Lingering odor, such as smoke or cologne
  • Any visible wear or damage
  • External forces (damage from animals, etc.)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You can email it or include it in the return.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Returns Shipping
To return your product, you must email with the subject line ATTN: Return and your order number. You will then receive a return authorization number that must be written on the outside of your return package AND included with the item being returned. Finally, you will mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
